Lost Lantern Has Your Summer Whiskey

Lost Lantern is back with its Summer 2025 Collection, and this time, the spotlight’s on something rare and exciting in the whiskey world: estate distilleries.
What does that mean? These are distilleries that don’t just make whiskey—they grow every grain that goes into the bottle on their own land. While that’s long been common in winemaking, it’s only recently started to take hold in American whiskey. Out of more than 3,000 U.S. distilleries, only a handful operate this way. Lost Lantern is celebrating four of them: Frey Ranch (NV), Corbin Cash (CA), and new partners Whiskey Acres (IL) and Far North Spirits (MN).
Despite being spread across very different climates and regions, these distilleries share a deep commitment to sustainability and letting their land speak through their spirits.
The Summer Collection introduces two new estate blends:
Farmers’ Fields Bourbon – A bold, earthy blend from Far North, Frey Ranch, and Whiskey Acres.
117.9 proof, $100, limited to 428 bottles.Farmers’ Fields Rye – Spicy, herbal, and fresh, made with whiskey from all four distilleries.
117.4 proof, $100, limited to 538 bottles.
Alongside those, Lost Lantern is also offering a series of single cask releases, each made entirely from estate-grown grain:
