Henley on the Wrist: Bremont’s Supermarine Salute to Rowing Royalt

There are watches, and then there are declarations of intent — the sort of timepiece that doesn’t just sit on your wrist, it speaks for you. The Bremont Supermarine 300m Henley Royal Regatta Limited Edition is decidedly the latter. Announced with characteristic British understatement but no lack of panache, this 50-piece release is Bremont’s sartorial bow to the world’s most storied rowing event.
Launched 1st July 2025, just in time for the champagne corks and clashing oars, the 40mm piece is carved from high-grade 904L stainless steel — the same lustrous, corrosion-resistant alloy used in far more decadent pursuits. Anchored by a crisp white dial bearing both the Henley Royal Regatta crest and Bremont’s signature Wayfinder logo, it’s circled by a punchy blue anodized aluminium bezel, a nod to the Henley colours and the dashing spirit of competition.
True to its Supermarine pedigree, this is no dainty clubroom accessory. With 300m water resistance and a robust steel bracelet complete with quick-release clasp and micro-adjustment, it’s every bit the performance tool. But make no mistake: this is also an objet d’art. A collector’s dream. A steel-borne tribute to heritage, endurance, and the kind of elegance that survives the spray and glare of the Thames.
“There’s an extraordinary symmetry here,” says Davide Cerrato, Bremont CEO. “The Regatta and Bremont both stand for precision, British craftsmanship, and pushing boundaries.” The watch, as he rightly notes, is as much about modern British design as it is about timeless values.
Henley’s own Chairman, Richard Phelps, perhaps put it best: “This limited-edition timepiece reflects the enduring spirit of the Regatta — where we strive to be remarkable, create history, and forge bonds that last well beyond the finish line.”
