Aston Martin Valhalla Roars to Life in Monaco
On May 23, 2025, Aston Martin’s Valhalla supercar made a thrilling debut on the streets of Monaco, driven by Formula One® champion Fernando Alonso. For the first time, the world watched Valhalla in motion as it tore through the iconic Grand Prix circuit just before F1® practice began.
Aston Martin teamed up with its Formula One® engineering division, AMPT, to pack Valhalla with cutting-edge, race-bred technology. Its 1079PS hybrid powertrain combines a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, the most powerful V8 in Aston Martin history, with dual electric motors and a new 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The result: blistering performance, torque vectoring, and all-wheel drive precision.
Dressed in Podium Green with Lime Green highlights, Valhalla carved through Casino Square and the Tunnel as Alonso pushed it to the limit. He called it “a true supercar,” praising its raw emotion, power, and F1®-inspired handling.
CEO Adrian Hallmark called the debut a defining moment in Aston Martin’s 112-year legacy, showcasing what’s possible when design and engineering push boundaries. Limited to 999 units, Valhalla marks a bold leap into the future for the brand’s road and track ambitions.
