Nashville’s Newest Watering Hole - Urban Cowboy Bar

Urban Cowboy, the boutique hotel brand known for bold, design-driven hospitality, has opened its first-ever standalone bar—Urban Cowboy Bar—right in the heart of Downtown Nashville. Set inside the historic 1902 Arcade Building, just steps from Broadway, this 8,000-square-foot, multi-level space brings the brand’s signature style and celebrated cocktail program to a broader audience.
Highlights:
Design & Atmosphere: Created by Urban Cowboy co-founder Lyon Porter and architect Nick Dryden, the bar is a maximalist dream—filled with vintage treasures, rare lighting, and standout pieces like a 3,000-pound buffalo head. The upstairs features a picture window into the building’s original atrium.
Drinks & Dining: Cocktails led by National Beverage Director Alex Jay, made with local ingredients; food by Brooklyn’s Roberta’s, offering pizza and small bites.
Spaces: Three levels including a main bar, mezzanine, upstairs cocktail bar (fits 300+), and a hidden speakeasy with space for 40.
Vibe: A stylish, conversation-friendly escape from honky tonks, with occasional live music and DJ sets.
Events: Available for private events, parties, and weddings.
With two existing East Nashville hotels—Urban Cowboy Nashville and The Dive Motel—this new bar marks a bold expansion downtown, inviting locals and travelers alike to experience the next chapter of the Urban Cowboy story.
