In its perpetual quest for horological excellence, Vacheron Constantin enriches the Overseas line by introducing two new Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra‑Thin models: one in pink gold with a matching golden dial, and the other in white gold with a deep burgundy lacquer dial. Both come in 41.5 mm cases and offer the flexibility of an 18K‑gold bracelet plus two interchangeable rubber straps.
At the core is the self‑winding manufacture movement Calibre 1120 QP/1, measuring only 4.05 mm in thickness and driving a fully automatic perpetual calendar (day, date, month, leap year) and moon‑phase display. This mechanism can maintain proper calendar accuracy all the way until the year 2100.
The pink gold version speaks refinement — with a tone‑on‑tone aesthetic and a subtle blue minute track around the dial. Its rubber straps are available in blue or white. Conversely, the white gold variant wears bold contrast: burgundy lacquer dial, white markers, and rubber strap options in burgundy or white.
A sapphire caseback reveals the movement’s finishes — Côtes de Genève, chamfering, perlage — and a 22K gold rotor engraved with a compass rose, a visual echo of the Overseas collection’s travel‑driven DNA.
Beyond its beauty and complexity, the watch is also versatile. Thanks to a quick, tool‑free strap/bracelet system, the wearer can transition from a formal gold bracelet to a sporty rubber strap in mere moments.
